The photos show an original knob for reference.  You will receive the black replacement knob with a stainless steel thread, which is a simpler alternative to the original part.

Another photo the round nut of the old knob, which needs to be removed in order for our knob to work. The rod may be pushed in, so pull outward on it to reveal the larger threaded part of the rod.
